How does the program work?

Just click on one of the photos above and fill out the donation form to sponsor your selected animal. If you’d like to set up your sponsorship manually, you can also contact us to receive a paper registration form. (If you are using the paper form, print it and mail it to us with your check. We will contact you as soon as we receive it.)

How much does it cost?

We ask for a fee of $25 a month. What will I get after registering? Besides the satisfaction of protecting animals from cruelty and neglect, you will receive an adoption certificate, color photograph of your adopted animal, and a VIP tour to meet your chosen pet.

What impact does my sponsorship have?

Sponsoring an animal at Animal Haven of Asheville for only $25/month provides so much to help your selected animal!

• Goats: Treats, including bags of apples and carrots, a bag of Tostitos, alfalfa cubes, and minty muffins
• Pigs: Toys and treats, including a playground ball, snuffle mat, Mazuri oat pig treats, and plenty of fresh produce (apples, tomatoes, greens, and melons)
• Sheep: Treats, including minty muffins, oats, and oat biscuits, as well as a sheep hairbrush

Can I visit with my animal after the initial tour?

Absolutely! Just call us and let us know when you are coming. You can spend as much time as you like visiting with your animal. Is my sponsorship tax deductible? Yes. We are a non-profit 501(c) animal welfare organization, and your contribution is fully deductible for federal income tax purposes.

What if my animal gets adopted?

If your animal is adopted and placed into a loving home, your sponsorship will automatically be transferred to another needy animal, or you may choose another animal for your sponsorship. We will contact you immediately if this occurs.

Can I buy a sponsorship for a friend or family member?

Yes. Just indicate that your sponsorship is a gift to someone else.
