How does the program work?

Click on any of the animal photos above and fill out the online donation form to start your sponsorship. If you prefer to register by mail, contact us and we’ll send you a paper form. Just print it, mail it back with your check, and we’ll reach out as soon as it arrives.

How much does it cost?

Sponsorships are $25/month. In addition to the joy of helping protect animals from cruelty and neglect, you’ll receive: an adoption certificate, a color photo of your sponsored animal, and a VIP tour to meet your selected animal.

What impact does my sponsorship have?

Your $25/month sponsorship provides treats, enrichment, and special care for your animal. Examples include:

• Goats: Apples, carrots, Tostitos, alfalfa cubes, minty muffins

• Pigs: Toys and treats like playground balls, snuffle mats, Mazuri oat treats, and fresh produce

• Sheep: Minty muffins, oats, oat biscuits, and a sheep hairbrush

Every sponsorship directly supports the daily care and happiness of the animals.

Can I visit with my animal after the initial tour?

Absolutely. Just give us a call to let us know when you’re coming, and you’re welcome to spend as much time as you like with your sponsored animal.

Is my sponsorship tax deductible?

Yes. Animal Haven of Asheville is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare organization, and your sponsorship is fully tax‑deductible.

What if I want to sponsor an animal who isn’t listed on this page?

If you connected with an animal during your visit and would like to sponsor them specifically, just reach out to us. We’re happy to set up a custom sponsorship form for you.

Can I buy a sponsorship for a friend or family member?

Yes. Indicate that your sponsorship is a gift, and we’ll take care of the rest.
