COVID-19 Update

Please do not visit the thrift store or volunteer if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, are caring for a person with COVID-19 symptoms, or have been exposed to someone who is COVID-19 positive.

Animal Sanctuary & THRIFT STORE: Open

The Animal Haven Thrift Store (located at the entrance to the sanctuary at 65 Lower Grassy Branch Rd.) will re-open on Tuesday, June 2nd. The thrift store is open Tues.-Sat. (11:00 am – 5:00 pm). **Face coverings are REQUIRED to be worn inside the thrift store.** Our animal sanctuary is once again open to the public! **Face coverings are OPTIONAL while outside visiting the farm animals**

DONATIONS

Many in our community have strong connections with the sanctuary animals. Please know that we have been preparing for this contingency for several weeks and have purchased the necessary supplies so that the animals can get the care they deserve. Many thanks to everyone in our community who has helped us get ready.

However, given the uncertainty of the duration of our closure and availability of supplies, we welcome donations of the animal supplies listed below. But please make sure you and your animals are adequately supplied first.

Please leave any donations of animal supplies on the thrift store porch by the thrift store front door (located at the entrance to the sanctuary, 65 Lower Grassy Branch Rd.). Please do not leave any donations for the thrift store itself as we will be unable to process them.

VOLUNTEERING

Current volunteers are welcome back to the sanctuary as of Tuesday, June 2nd, beginning at 8:30 am, as scheduled. If possible, please bring your own work gloves. We can not accept new volunteers at this time.
